Manipueira Gold Recovery Technology, Inc., (“MGRT”, the “Company”) (f.k.a.) Alchemy Mining Group, inc., is an innovation provider with a sustainable plant-based leaching technology designed to replace mercury, a deadly neurotoxin, with manipueira to safely recover more gold from ore.
The Company mission is to raise impact investment capital to fund the implementation of its scalable ESG driven climate action initiative to convert a whole ore mercury amalgamation Chilean processing center (“Chilean Center”) to the world’s first mercury free sustainable manipueira precious metals leaching center (“Leaching Center”) which will safely recover more gold from ore than by using mercury.
The use of mercury to recover gold from ore in Chilean Centers is the Planet's largest anthropogenic source of deadly global atmospheric mercury pollution releasing and discharging an estimated 2,000 - 10,000 tonnes of mercury to our environment annually and documented during 2021 by Oxford University earth scientists to stay airborne up to one year. Mercury precipitates back to Earth in the form of rain, ice, and snow polluting the land and contaminating the waters.
MGRT principles conceived an ESG driven climate action initiative which includes a cash incentive for Chilean Center owners to switch from using mercury to using manipueira, a cyanogenic plant-based extract solution from the locally grown and harvested bitter cassava plant. Nature’s safer solution proven and documented to sustainably recover more gold from ore.
The Company prepared design schematics in an interactive flow chart prototyping the world's first sustainable manipueira precious metals leaching center (“Leaching Center”) for processing ore and toxic tailings wastes. The Leaching Center is based upon the remediation and the conversion of a Chilean Center having an ore processing capacity 80 tonne/day and scalable.
The operations of the Company will be conducted in Ecuador’s Portovelo-Zaruma mining district and neighboring Malvas ore processing area through the Company’s wholly owned Ecuadorian operating subsidiary Recuperación de oro de Manipueira, S.A., (“Recuperación”).
Here, 87 Chilean Centers are responsible of the annual discharge of 1.9 million tonnes of toxic tailings wastes containing gold as mercury flour, unliberated gold in the crushed ore, mercury, cyanide, mercury-cyanide compounds, mercury-sodium or mercury-potassium, or mercury-calcium salt compounds, and methylmercury which is poured directly into the Calera and Amarillo rivers.
This toxic pollutant provides mobility for mercury causing biodiversity destruction throughout the Amazon rivers and riverbanks. This wastes ends up polluting the Pacific Ocean 350 km west poisoning the fish we consume, especially Tuna, where mercury bioaccumulates the most and with unknown biomagnification effects.
The Company is seeking impact investment capital in exchange for MGRT equity to fund Recuperación’s implementation of the Company scalable ESG driven climate action initiative in Zaruma which includes in part, the capital for the purchase of, or the formation thereof, a Joint Venture partnership (“JV”) with an owner of a Chilean Center to convert, showcase, and demonstrate the world’s first mercury free Leaching Center which will recover more gold than by using mercury to #MakeMercuryHistory from that Chilean Center for the benefit of miners, our Planet’s health, and for shareholder profit, one center at a time and scalable.
